Palace at the Paramount
Hello Palace People!
We know it’s been a while since our last blog post, but our plan is to start making these a more frequent occurrence in your life. There are a TON of new and exciting things happening in the Palace world these days and we invite you to join along, even if that just means reading about it.
First, an introduction is in order! I’ve been a barista at Palace since September of 2012 except for a brief period where I explored the world of substitute teaching (not my cup of tea, come to find). During my absence I realized being a barista wasn’t just a temporary job for me, it was actually my passion. I’ve hopefully met most of you, but some of you may know me as Rob’s wife or that girl that kinda looks like Taylor Swift. If that’s the case, hi, I’m Katie Reagan and I’m a Palace barista and the new Communication Director.
I am excited about getting back in the swing of things, but especially excited to be working at the new “Palace 2” (unofficial nickname), which will be located in the iconic Paramount building in downtown Amarillo, TX. Along with several new baristas, we are introducing a new food program headed by the one and only Rachiel Bruce. Spoiler alert: aside from pastries and lunch, there will be brunch on Saturdays in Amarillo from 9 am to 1 pm. BRUNCH. Who doesn’t love brunch?
Here are a few FAQ:
Will Palace at the Paramount have live music on the weekends?
No. We still encourage you to make your way to our shop in Canyon on the weekend nights to enjoy the staff and atmosphere there. Each shop has its own look and feel, and we want you to experience the culture that each one has to offer.
Will Palace at the Paramount be open on Sundays?
No, BUT if you absolutely cannot go a day without a Palace cappuccino, go ahead and mosey on over to Canyon from 1 pm-5 pm on Sundays!
Will the Canyon location still serve lunch?
Yes! We will serve lunch from 11:30 am-1:30 pm Monday through Friday.
*Same for the Amarillo location, except for brunch on Saturday
